75H Six habits, seventy-five days

Support

75H tracks the six things you have to do every day for seventy-five days. It runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad — there is no account to recover and no server to be down.

One person reads this, so plain English beats a bug report. Telling me your iOS version and what you tapped just before it went wrong saves a round trip.

Common questions

I did the day's work but forgot to log it. Do I lose everything?

No. When 75H notices a missed day it offers two ways out. Restart at Day 1 follows the rules literally. “I did it, I just didn't log it” keeps the run going — those days count toward your seventy-five and are marked as taken on trust.

Trusted days deliberately add nothing to your water, page or workout totals. The run stays honest even when the log has a hole in it.

Why are my progress photos blurred?

That is on purpose. Photos stay blurred until Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode confirms it is you, and they blur again the moment the app leaves the foreground — before iOS takes the snapshot it shows in the app switcher.

Tap Unhide above the photo strip to look at them. If your device has no passcode set there is nothing to authenticate against, so the photos simply stay visible rather than locking you out of your own pictures.

My Apple Health workouts aren't ticking off.

Three things to check. The workout has to be at least 45 minutes — 75H will not round a 44-minute session up, because a generous auto-tick would be lying to you. It has to have been recorded today. And 75H needs read permission, which you can confirm in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › 75H.

If you already ticked that workout off by hand, Health stops touching that slot. That is deliberate: your correction wins, otherwise every sync would undo it.

I started the challenge before I found the app.

Open Settings › Which day are you on? and set the day you are actually on. Days before that are treated as done off-app and taken on trust, so they will not be counted as missed.

I logged a day wrong. Can I fix it?

Yes. On the Stats tab, tap The whole run and pick the day. You can correct water, pages, the diet, both workouts and the photo for any day you have reached.

The timer kept counting while the app was closed. Is that right?

Yes. The 45-minute timers are worked out from timestamps rather than a ticking clock, so they stay correct through a locked screen, a backgrounded app, or iOS shutting the app down. If a timer runs past 45 minutes while you are away, the time is banked and the timer stops — but ticking the workout off stays your call.

Can I get my data out, or move it to a new phone?

Your logs and photos live only on the device, so an encrypted iPhone backup (iCloud or Finder) carries them to a new phone. There is no export button and no cloud sync — the same design decision that means nobody else can read your photos also means there is no copy to hand you.

Individual progress photos can be saved to your camera roll one at a time from the Stats tab.

How do I start over completely?

Settings › Restart at Day 1. It erases all seventy-five days of history and every progress photo, and it cannot be undone. Your water quick-add amounts and reminder times are kept.

Reporting something broken

If something is genuinely wrong — a crash, a count that will not add up, a reminder that fires for something already done — email the address above. Screenshots help, and 75H never sends me anything on its own, so I only know what you tell me.
